PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Rez has long, dark brown hair that goes to his shoulders, a five-o'-clock shadow, piercing blue eyes and a scar across his forehead. He stands with a relaxed posture at 5'11. He normally wears clothes that allow him to blend into a crowd with ease and avoid detection. Mainly he wears a business suit and tie when incognito. With every disguise he wears sunglasses, to hide his eye color.
PERSONALITY: Rez has been known to crack jokes towards events and people frequently and he never takes anything seriously. He's also seen as a womanizer, but his affections are directed towards his partner-in-crime and girlfriend, Nicole Sonozaki.
STRENGTHS: Rez knows over a hundred martial arts styles and knows multiple languages. He is also a master of disguise and always has an opportunity to prove his skill. Another skill he has is his proficiency with a sidearm, mainly a Beretta M92F, sometimes equipped with a silencer.
WEAKNESSES: The fact that Rez can't take anything seriously puts him at odds with some people, and he is also overconfident, cocky, and sometimes he's even careless.
LYOKO: His Lyoko form is similar to his real world form, but with an outfit that looks like something out of The Matrix.
HISTORY: Rez was born into a rich family, spoiled from birth and treated like a prince. His father was Andrew Carlyle, CEO of AeoTech, and made Rez the heir to his business empire in case Andrew would either retire or expire. He had always shown an innate ability for combat and excelled at his martial arts and language studies. When he turned 17, he began to spend his fathers fortune touring the world and what it had to offer.
He spent the last of his teenage years on the move with one goal, to have the time of his life while he's still young. He'd spend thousands of dollars in lavish nightclubs and bars drinking the night away with friends and "pleasurable" company. But no matter how much of this fun he had, he always sought more excitement. When he was 21, he was approached by a representative from the CIA with one of those "offer you can't refuse" kind of jobs.
Naturally, he accepted the job and was put through a rigorous training course to prepare him for his job, an operative for the CIA. He was fully inducted into the organization when he was 23, and was partnered up with Nicole Sonozaki, a master hacker who is now Rez' girlfriend, and Grigorio Mendoza, a sniper and interrogation expert. They even gave him the codename "Rez". After a year of working for the CIA, he discovered that Grigorio was a traitor, that he had some mysterious ulterior motive, and that every personal op he was sent on greatly harmed governments around the globe. Rez and Nicole were framed for Grigorios' crime, and were forced to go rogue and begin Rez's previous lifestyle of globetrotting, continuously evading the CIA's agents and trying to bring Grigorios' traitorous crimes to light and clear their names.

RP Sample: A calm café in Italy, its patrons talking amongst themselves and relaxing. At a table near the corner sat a young man in a suit and tie, reading a newspaper with a relaxed look on his face. His phone began to ring a few seconds later, with the name "N.S." on the caller ID. "Talk to me." "I've tapped into the traffic cameras nearby. A group of men are on their way in." "So?" "They were sent by our old 'friend.'" "Oh. Usual routine?" "Put on a good show, hon." The young man stood up and began to walk to the exit. He pulled a pistol out from his side and fired it into the floor, afterward shouting "Oh my God, he's got a gun!" and pointing at one of the well-dressed yet tough-looking men who walked in, causing a panic and allowing him to slip through the back undetected. "The A-Team pistol-fakeout works every time." The young man was now talking into a well-hidden earpiece.
"Let's not rely on that trick too much, otherwise they'll figure us out." "It's still funny though."As he moved through the kitchen, the person on the line informed him that there is a van on its way and to head into the alley. As he stepped outside, he ran into a particularly tough group of thugs, who instantly started a fight. The young man moved with astounding speed and precision in the fight. He dispatched the first thug with a roundhouse kick and bested the other by throwing him into the trash cans nearby. By the time the thugs were dispatched, the van had arrived. A young woman was in the passenger seat, typing on a laptop.
"Hop in, Rez." Rez opened the back of the van and climbed inside, closing the door behind him. The van drove off from the scene with no haste. "Whew! That was a close one! Those meatheads in Mendoza's task force will have a hard time explaining this one." "They'll just deny it like they always do. We'll need to head to a new safehouse." "Anywhere in particular?" "The nearest one's in France, in the Boulogne-Billancourt part of Paris. Want to hear the most intriguing fact about it? It was used by Mendoza when he began to double-cross the CIA.
