Tongue sticking out from between his lips as he fiercely concentrated, Odd put pencil to paper, carefully, carefully finishing up his sketch. A nostalgic one, it was, well, them. In Lyoko, that was. Him, Ulrich, Aelita, Yumi, Jeremie (because he was nice, Jeremie wasn't in his Lyoko form, just how he normally looked), and, after consideration, William was in there, too, in the form he had had before being Xana-ized (he had had to ask Aelita for that, though he had been certain not to let slip what he was doing!). Standing in the center of a tower, just goofing off...
He missed it, to be honest.
But this picture was looking out great, and he was pleased. The faint outline of the tower platform could be seen, sketched out in the gray, thin lines of his pencil, and the beginnings of Aelita and Jeremie could be seen, hands intertwined as they leaned on each other, a rough sketch of Aelita's wings coming out behind her. He thought... It looked nice. It wouldn't make sense to anyone who saw it, what with the angelic wings, the elvish ears, the odd outfit on Aelita, and the weird platform they stood upon, but... He was pleased with it so far.
Satisfied with his quick surveying, and letting his pencil etch out the start of Aelita's skirt, Odd dropped his pencil, letting it roll down his sketchpad and fall into his lap, leaning back against the tree he was sitting under as he reached for the bag of gummy worms in his backpack, pulling it out and ripping it open, practically inhaling it as he shoved copious amounts of the candy into his mouth. Mmm... He had been hungry!
Taking a quick break from his drawing, he let his eyes roam the grounds as he shoveled in the food, one hand sightlessly searching in his backpack for the bag of chips he knew he had somewhere in there. Snack break, awesome!

Peering through the window, she watched the other girl glance back at her with a soft scowl as she rapped upon it. Her friend tossed back a paper wad, which seemed to go unnoticed by the current detention teacher. How the hell was she supposed to get that? She wasn’t even in the class room.
Ninon wrinkled her nose slightly, as she thought it over. In a stroke of momentary brilliance, she carefully went about nudging the window open, until she could grab the piece of paper and duck back down into the bushes. Thirty minutes had been unceremoniously scribbled on the paper, which left Ninon to thunk her pigtails against the cement wall. “Seriously?” She groaned loudly, before quickly realizing her mistake.
She scrambled away from the window, shoving the paper into her pocket. The teacher was looking over the window with a shrug when Ninon glanced backwards, already looking as if she hadn’t been anywhere near it. Had Jim been in charge of detention that day, she wouldn’t of even bothered trying to get word of when her friend might escape...
There was no escaping the dungeon master.
The brunette quickly steered herself towards another part of campus, contemplating how to spend thirty-minutes waiting for her friend to get out of detention. Shoving her hands into the pockets of her maroon jumper, she kicked at some loose dust, watching a few pebbles fly. Well, there weren’t too many kids left waiting around school this time of day...
Just those that lived on campus, mainly.
If she was lucky, there might of been a game of frisbee or jumprope going on somewhere. Or even an actual game of some sort, which would of passed the time, no problem, whether watching or playing. Yet... the campus just seemed... dead.
So, when she wandered towards the only person seemingly around, stuffing his gob with candy... She didn’t immediately turn around and scuttle off, looking for other people. He was reminding her that she was starving though. Geez.
So, she stared at him.
Just, you know.
That awkward stare you use when you’re not sure how to start a conversation with someone.
Or, you’re not sure if you should start one.
That sort of stare.

It didn’t take long for Odd to realize that someone was staring at him, distracted as he was with his munching. After all, when one is used to Xana being right there, all his monsters, all that making sure they wouldn’t sneak up on you and take a major chunk of life points… Well, you sorta got this sixth sense. Though his senses were definitely better than everyone else’s on Lyoko. For once, a good thing about being a purple cat.
Regardless of the color and the animal type of his Lyoko Avatar, Odd looked up, mouth full of gummy worms, and blinked at the girl standing there. That was, hm… He prided himself on knowing pretty much everyone in his surrounding grades, particularly the girls, and hm, who was that… Ah! Grinning, he swallowed heavily, all his gummy worms disappearing down into his stomach. Mm, good. “Ninon Costes, right?” Odd’s grin was huge, spreading across his face.
Hm, should he get up? It was a good consideration, but… Nah, he didn’t feel like it. He was rather comfortable right here. Thus, instead, the svelte boy scooted over, patting the now empty spot next to him. “Have a seat! What can I do for a lovely young lady like yourself?”
She needed a nickname, hm… Ninon was a little… Well, he was not the best judge of names, but he felt like a nickname. Maybe something with her hair, it was nice and bright and orange, not too many people had that color of hair...
Well, purple and pink were definitely uncommon, too, and he and Aelita had them, so again, shouldn’t be talking! Man, there was too much he shouldn’t talk about, unfun!
