Give me a second, I need to get my story straight-
Ninon Costes a is rough-and-tumble farm-girl from the south of france. She's small, but don't let her size and overly cute choice of dress confuse you. She's one tough cookie, and isn't afraid to fight for what she believes in.
Ninon lives off campus with her father, and is part of the school's soccer team, and will only be on campus during classes, for lunch, and whenever a soccer game or practice is scheduled. She hangs out at various gyms, playgrounds, hangouts, and grassy fields outside of school, sometimes with friends, but generally by herself. She's something of a feisty tomboy with a big heart.
She has interest in most athletic activities, history and places with historical significance, several music groups, other languages, differing cultures, and the simple things in life.
Technology is sort of off-putting for Ninon, she didn't actually grow up with much of it. She's never played a video game, her computer skills are lacking, and she doesn't own a phone. Ninon also tends to dislike girly-things, though she'll put up with them for good friends.
You can read more about her background and personality here.
My friends are in the bathroom getting higher than the empire state...
Ninon would probably find a friend in anyone who gave her the time of day, and didn't insult her or someone else in her presence. She's got a big heart, and tends to reach out to younger kids that are being bullied. Her friends aren't just from her class or age-group, and she tends to be considered a fiercely loyal friend, at that.
Ninon does have a reputation for being a hot-blooded girl that would fight for absolutely no reason at all. She fights for honor, more than anything, and tends to put people on edge, due to her reputation of: will fight anyone. Her friends will eventually get that if she does start a fight, there's always a reason, and that reason in Ninon's mind, justifies kicking the crap out of her opponent.
She doesn't believe that words can solve everything.
Ninon has good relationships with most of the other girls on the soccer team, probably barring a few. Her relationships with the people in her class would likely depend on their actions and words towards her and others. Ninon's very actively committed to her sport, as well as her friends, she might struggle with giving soccer up for any of them, though, even for a day.
Her friends don't necessarily have to share her interests, though she does have a stronger bond with those that do. The majority of her friends are boys that can see the reason in acting tough and protecting what's yours. Her friends that are girls tend to be younger or the same age her, who're searching for someone who isn't afraid to standup for themselves.
Her friends tend to be the big-hearted, the kindly, the timid, and the brave. Anyone that can pledge a few hours hanging out with Ninon every week are often friends.
My lover, she is waiting for me just across the bar...
Ninon's dated a few boys before, and even as a younger child, she didn't seem to find the idea awkward. Two people that like each other very much, whom would like to hold hands, kiss, and romance each other for a time, due to liking each other and holding mutual interests.
Nothing to it really.
There was probably never a time in her life in which she considered boys icky... Mostly because she was a huge tomboy herself, a farm-raised kid who didn't find generally find herself noting gender-rolls. After all, her mom was in there, picking vegetables and chasing animals right there with her father.
Ninon's held four boyfriends in total, one when she was ten-whom she constantly held hands with and kissed only once on the cheek, two when she was eleven, one whom she dumped for the other and never kissed either, and finally...
Matthieu Ducrocq, whom she dated for about a year when she first arrived at Kadic. He asked her to the prom, and she just went with it. They had a lot in common, he thought she was shy and cute, and he knew how to dance. Her first real kiss, and subsequent second, third, and so on.
They broke up over how much Ninon had changed, and not in a good way either, over summer-break. So, Ninon's free to try and find another guy, if she wanted.
Ninon's choice in boys is very strange, being that she's generally the badboy in the relationship. She tends to find herself with guys that are really nice to her, that treat her right, that are generally considered tame. She's the one sneaking into their dorm room, or throwing rocks a their window, getting them both into trouble. She's the one who's most likely to break up with them, rather than them break up with her.
She's high energy and bubbly, and generally when she falls for someone, she falls hard. Sometimes it doesn't hit her that she really likes a guy until a few weeks into a relationship.
Anyone she dates has to have something in common with her, from sports to history. They have to be the sort of person that wouldn't mind having their girl stand up for them. ... they'll also have to put up with her mysteriously appearing at their dorm with a sleeping-bag and a smile.
My seat's been taken by some sunglasses with a scar...
Ninon gets in scrapes over the most random of things, it sometimes seems. She'll always stand up for people, if they're being bullied, and they won't stand up for themselves. She won't tolerate her family being spoken ill of, despite her feelings about somethings. Fighting is something Ninon just does: it's her way of keeping her head high and her honor in tact.
People that get on her nerves multiple times would end up on her mental list of irritants, delinquents, and idiots. Bullies won't be tolerated in her presence, even if they're a hellva lot older than her.
Ninon doesn't like most of her teachers, and finds their teachings irrelevant to her interests. She just... doesn't like the authority they represent, most of the time. She doesn't get along with them.
Enemies she doesn't really have, they're just people that need a thrashing in her mind. Anyone that could actually avoid fighting her, continuously, while still insulting her pride or honor, would be a major 'I just want you dead', person, though.
