CHARACTER FILE
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
At a glance, Eira seems to be a typical looking girl, like one you would easily find walking along the street. She has a fair complexion and black hair that reaches down below the shoulder blade, occasionally falling down in front of her dark green eyes.
Eira stands at a decent 5'2", having a confident posture no matter where she's at, happy with what she looks like despite her lack of a figure and/or athletic build. During warmer months she prefers tank tops and shorts, her favorite being a white and tan combo. In colder months, she usually wears long sleeves and jeans, occasionally putting on a jacket for fashion's sake. Of course, when she needs to, she has a gray coat complete with deep pockets and a hood, though the hood can hide literally her entire head if pulled all the way forward.
Nightware? Well, she normally doesn't wear anything other than her undergarments when she sleeps. But if she knows someone is stopping by or if she is getting out for anything other than school and such, she does have a black nightgown that hovers above her ankles. Just do her a favor and never come into her room unannounced, alright?
PERSONALITY:
Eira is a very open person when it comes down to people. Despite what she may hear from others, she doesn't like to pass judgement about someone until she meets them for herself. She simply wants to give everyone a chance, even if no one else will.
Eira always wants to have a good time, and she always tries to find something to do with her friends whether it would be a simple lunch outside on campus or going out and finding something exciting from there. Boredom isn't exactly something she's very fond of, to say the least, and she doesn't want her friends to be the same way. Good times are a gateway to good relationships... at least, that's what her mother told her.
Eira always tries to be an emotional support for others whether being somewhere and cheering them on or just simply taking time to sit and listen. Unfortunately, when asked to help, she isn't the type of person to jump into a situation. If it's not something for her to deal with, she'd rather keep a distance as to see the situation, but not to be confronted by it. The less troubles she has, the better.
One thing Eira has a hard time dealing with would have to be pushy people. If she wants a subject dropped but others won't let it, her patience starts to deplete rather quickly. When this happens, she'll normally do one of three things: 1) She'll drop whatever she's doing and leave as quickly as possible. 2) She'll snap and confront the person, escalating to a fist fight if it goes far enough. 3) On rare occasions, she'll simply give in to the other person's whims. This usually only happens when she's not in the mood for the previous options, or if the other person brings up a point that causes her to stop resisting.
To be sympathetic is one thing, but Eira has a sort of bleeding heart. Whenever someone is looking down or outright crying, she has a strong impulse to do just about anything to make them feel better. Unfortunately, though her intentions are always good, this can make her gullible and easy to manipulate if someone can put on a good act. Of course, if she realizes this is happening, she'll back off immediately. The one thing she cannot stand is someone taking advantage of her.
STRENGTHS:
Eira is rather brilliant in Mathematics, able to do most equations in her head almost twice as fast as most.
Computers is a familiar concept to her as well, though not to say she's a genius. She is familiar with basic coding and hardware, able to put a computer together with enough time.
The one thing she takes pride in is her ability to use a bow and arrow. Her family hunts at times during the year for sport, and she had been doing it since she was 11. It was there she learned how to use a bow, and although she was suggested a firearm, she only wanted the basic weapon. She was comfortable with it, but it was obviously the best thing she could use. Her parents still keep a couple of trophies with a mark where their daughter made the shot.
WEAKNESSES:
Where Eira can write an equation, she can't write an essay on it. She likes to keep things simple and easy to understand, but that means cutting her words short, making her writing not the most elaborate thing one can read... even though the point is gotten across most of the time.
There are times when Eira let's her guard down, and it's painfully easy to notice when she does. When this happens, one can surprise her easily and get some of the best reactions out of her.
Although she may get up in someone's face, she's not really physically inclined to take much punishment. A few hits is more than enough to knock her to the ground, and it's a death wish if she gets back up as she would be easy to knock out afterwards.
LYOKO:
Appearance:
In Lyoko, Eira gets a rather simple change up. Upon materialization, her hair is tied back and her body is completely covered in a tight, dark blue jumpsuit with basic padded 'armor' around her chest, shoulders, and legs. Not all that elaborate, but it does help keep her mobility.
Weapon(s);
On her back would be her weapon, a bow with sharpened ends. Fighting style... Well, she uses a bow. Staying a distance from the battle is where most archers take aim. As she pulls back on the string, a arrow takes form, and all she has to do is shoot.
However, if an arrow is out of order, she can simply use bow to attack any nearby enemies. Only downside is that she's not well adept to taking on many enemies at once, so she can be in trouble when she's surrounded.
Abilities:
Homing Set: Eira shoots an arrow that splits into five smaller ones and chases up to five of the nearest targets. If they miss, they dissipate and Eira has to shoot a new set.
HISTORY: Eira was born in the country of America to a very unusual couple of an Industrial Scientist, her dad, and an M.D., her mother. Although both are busy professions, they were well respected in their fields and were given leeway when they had Eira, each able to work a schedule that gave them equal time with their daughter, the best they could do to seem like a normal family. It worked for some time too, five years to be exact, but when Eira's father was promoted on the job, he was being transferred to Europe, more specifically France, as part of it. Eira's mom, however, had to quit her job for this, which may have given her more time with her daughter, but did cut into their funding. They had to give up several material things, but the transferred worked out rather well in the end.
Eira was able to cope with the change surprisingly well, though her mother said it was due to how young she was at the time. It took a little while for her to get used to the change of customs, but she was thankfully a quick learner. She had a small group of friends, playing with them often in the neighborhood as her mother always wanted her close by as much as possible. School was a bit of a challenge for her, though. It took a while for her to catch up to everything, but with some help from her parents at home, Eira was able to adapt to the system. School sociability, though, was something she took to naturally. She got along with most students and some teachers rather nicely, becoming a local personality, in a way.
During vacations, though, they often visit family back in America, Eira participating in the family tradition of hunting. Instead of giving the girl a beginner's firearm to use, they kept things basic and gave her a bow, teaching how to use it until she one day bagged her first trophy. As time went by, she got better at it, and the family suggested she step up to a firearm, but they were surprised when she refused rather strongly. She wanted to keep with a bow because it felt more natural to her. Simply pulling a trigger didn't seem that fun.
As time passed, her mother was given the chance to work as an M.D. again. She was rather happy about this, but as she told it to Eira, it hit her mother that their current life is already set. Eira, however, encouraged her mother to go back to doing what she enjoyed, even though she knew it meant spending less time with her. As she wasn't well known in France, they both knew that her mother wouldn't be able to flex her schedule like back in America, but Eira did notice her mother reading medical texts and the like to keep herself from getting rusty. However, her mother didn't want her to be walking about without some sort of supervision. When this was brought up to Eira's father, he remembered one of his co-workers mentioning a certain boarding school: Kadic Academy.
It took some time getting everything sorted out, but Eira was later accepted into the school. The girl welcomed the idea of a boarding school, thinking it more of a challenge then anything. Plus, it would give her a bit of insight of how life would be like living on her own. As optimistic as always, she wasn't considering what all she could get herself into.

The last bell of the day rang, a sound of relief for Eira as she started packing her books. The day seemed to just drag on this time around. She couldn't wait to head back to her room and relax for the day, the best activity she could think of at that moment being to sleep. There wasn't any homework for her to catch up on, so why not be a little lax for one day?
"Ms. Cenel, could I speak to you for a moment?" The teacher's voice rang out above the chatter from the rest of the students exiting the room. Why did he want to speak to her? Did she do something wrong? Regardless, she slung her bag over her shoulder and walked up front, the other students not paying much attention as they walked along. At least she could be thankful that no one was glancing at her with suspicious looks.
"Yes, Sir?" Her question came out a little more shaky than she wanted, voicing her nervousness. The teacher, however, gave a warm smile.
"Relax, Eira. It's nothing to worry about." The slight chuckle in his voice made the girl calm down, her shoulders lowering ever so slightly. "I simply wanted to ask you about how you were doing in class. I know it's been almost two weeks since you arrived here at Kadic Academy..."
Eira smiled. Being in a different country, she expected things to work differently then back home, at least regarding to the teachers, but it seemed they actually do care. "I'm actually doing well, thank you. It's a little different, but nothing I can't handle."
The teacher nodded. "That's good to hear. Just remember that if you need anything, don't be afraid to contact any of the staff. Understood?" Eira responded with a nod herself, accompanied with a hum of understanding. "Very well. Now, run along."
She didn't need to be told twice. With a wave, she left the classroom with a content smile. So far everything was going pretty smooth, but in the back of her mind, that just made her wonder when she would get her share of the 'High School Drama' here at Kadic. It was bound to happen, especially as it was a boarding school. She just hoped it wouldn't be anything that embarrassing.
